Who We Are

Mel Casey and Jon Casey are not strangers to the construction industry. Mel and Jon grew up on a dairy farm in the San Joaquin Valley in Central California. It was during these years that they were taught that hard work always pays off.

Mel and Jon’s father was a contractor and built many custom homes before his passing when they were very young. Mel and Jon soon realized their destiny in the construction industry. After several years of working in various construction trades, Mel and Jon decided to start their own business specializing in finish carpentry services. The new company became known as Jon Casey Construction and Finish Carpentry. The new business grew fast and was soon expanded to offer all general construction services. Mel has continued to work in the company as an estimator, project manager and as an assistant to Jon with any project requiring Mel’s expertise. During the fall of 2015, Mel made a decision to become a real estate agent and after hard work and dedication, he is now a licensed real estate agent in the State of California.

Mel and his wife Sheretta, own and operate a real estate investment company known as MSC Home Restorations, LLC. The company has flipped 25 homes in the state of California since 2013. Favorite hobbies include traveling with his family and singing gospel music.

In the spring of 2016, an opportunity was presented to Mel and Jon to be part of a new home building franchise. After 5 years of building over 50 homes, Mel and Jon decided to continue on their own. During the late summer of 2021, Casey Bros. Custom Homes, LLC was up and running. The home office and design showroom are located in their hometown of Riverdale, California.

Mel and Jon are excited about starting this next chapter in their lives. They have always had the desire to help and serve others. With Casey Bros. Custom Homes, LLC they will be doing exactly that.
